Every Survivor Has a Story Life is different in the age of COVID-19, but skin cancer is the same devastating disease, no matter the crisis. One in five Americans develop skin cancer, and two people die every hour as a result of it. As we head into the holiday season, we want to shine a bright light on some skin cancer warriors who have battled the world’s most common cancer and prevailed. Every survivor has a unique and compelling story to tell, but when the battle is over, the goals are the same – to educate as many people as possible about the dangers of skin cancer and ways to prevent it from happening in the first place. We are grateful to all for sharing and amplifying our message that early detection and daily sun protection do indeed save lives. True Stories | |
